About The
Clean And Unclean Things
And
About The
Holy And Unholy Things
Introduction To
Holiness
You must learn to separate what
is holy from what is not holy. As well, learn to differentiate what is clean
from what is not clean. Do not be like a baby in the arms, who eats whatever
that is fed into his mouth without knowing whether it is good or bad.
2 You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal, a male and his female; two each of animals that are unclean, a male and his female; Genesis 7:2
8 Of clean animals, of animals that are unclean, of birds, and of everything that creeps on the earth, Genesis 7:8
19 'The flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire. And as for the clean flesh, all who are clean may eat of it. Leviticus 7:19
10 that you may distinguish between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean, Leviticus 10:10
32 Anything on which any of them falls, when they are dead shall be unclean, whether it is any item of wood or clothing or skin or sack, whatever item it is, in which any work is done, it must be put in water. And it shall be unclean until evening; then it shall be clean. Leviticus 11:32
36 Nevertheless a spring or a cistern, in which there is plenty of water, shall be clean, but whatever touches any such carcass becomes unclean. Leviticus 11:36
47 to distinguish between the unclean and the clean, and between the animal that may be eaten and the animal that may not be eaten.'" Leviticus 11:47
59 "This is the law of the leprous plague in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp or woof, or in anything made of leather, to pronounce it clean or to pronounce it unclean." Leviticus 13:59
57 to teach when it is unclean and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy."
Leviticus 14:57
8 If he who has the discharge spits on him who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. Leviticus 15:8
15 "And every person who eats what died naturally or what was torn by beasts, whether he is a native of your own country or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. Then he shall be clean. Leviticus 17:15
25 You shall therefore distinguish between clean animals and unclean, between unclean birds and clean, and you shall not make yourselves abominable by beast or by bird, or by any kind of living thing that creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean. Leviticus 20:25
4 'Whatever man of the descendants of Aaron, who is a leper or has a discharge, shall not eat the holy offerings until he is clean. And whoever touches anything made unclean by a corpse, or a man who has had an emission of semen, Leviticus 22:4
19 The clean person shall sprinkle the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, wash his clothes, and bathe in water; and at evening he shall be clean. Numbers 19:19
15 "However, you may slaughter and eat meat within all your gates, whatever your heart desires, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you; the unclean and the clean may eat of it, of the gazelle and the deer alike. Deuteronomy 12:15
22 Just as the gazelle and the deer are eaten, so you may eat them; the unclean and the clean alike may eat them. Deuteronomy 12:22
22 You may eat it within your gates; the unclean and the clean person alike may eat it, as if it were a gazelle or a deer. Deuteronomy 15:22
4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean?
No one! Job 14:4
2 All things come alike to all:
One event happens to the righteous and the wicked;
To the good, the clean, and the unclean;
To him who sacrifices and him who does not sacrifice.
As is the good, so is the sinner;
He who takes an oath as he who fears an oath.
Ecclesiastes 9:2
11 Depart! Depart! Go out from there,
Touch no unclean thing;
Go out from the midst of her,
Be clean,
You who bear the vessels of the LORD.
Isaiah 52:11
26 Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. Ezekiel 22:26
23 "And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the unholy, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. Ezekiel 44:23
